Currently working as Vice President –IT in Shriram Value Services Ltd, an IT arm of Shriram Group which is a leading Financial and Insurance conglomerate.  Having around 25+ years of experience in Information Technology. Current role is on managing the Group’s Datacenter, Disaster Recovery and near site which includes IT Infrastructure (Server, Storage and Networking) & IT Security.  Handling both Microsoft and IBM Platforms. Had designed Network Operating Center for Managing Shriram Group’s applications. Established automation on BCP-DR and branches. Recently Designed a Security Operating Center to manage and monitor IT security products like DLP, SIEM, WAF etc and IT governance. Architected Private cloud and initiated Public cloud and currently exploring a hybrid cloud.

Co-ordination with Group companies and OEM/Partners on regular basis on bringing new technology.

On education, holding a Computer Science graduation with MBA and an Alumnus of IIM, Calcutta.

Currently President of CIO KLUB, a CIO association – Chennai Chapter

Had won Awards like CIO100-IDG, CIO Powerlist- Core Media, VMware IT Excellency Award, Best network Security Implementation from Fortinet, EMC Transformer Award, Dataquest Digital award, Best CIO50 – CAI etc.
